This beautiful young lab mix has a cream coat and a typically friendly demeanor, though a bit shy at first. He already responds to 'sit' and gets along well with other dogs, heeding their cues. His curiosity extends to cats as well. He may be too much for some with his puppy behavior.
He will require a home that can continue his puppy training, particularly for leash walking; he's not too bad but does tend to pull. He is crate trained and just about house trained already! No accidents in the house in the past few days. Huey taught himself how to go through a doggy door within a few hours. He has started playing fetch, even bringing the ball back! Good in a car. Has been to the local pet store and was well behaved. With his young, eager mind, he is ready to learn more.
He promises to be a wonderful addition to any active family or couple and he would love to have another pup to play with.
Adopters should have the following:
Single family home with fenced yard and another pup to play and socialize with.
Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours.
** All canine pets should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
