Bones

Needs Foster

Adoption Pending

Prior to his rescue, he resided in a vehicle with his previous owners, who occupied an alley for several months. These individuals claimed to have saved Bones from a residence where he was subjected to bait dog activities. However, in mid-April, they vanished, leaving Bones tied to their truck without food or water.

Through the collaborative efforts of the community, Bones has been granted an opportunity for a better life. This is his chance to experience the love and care he deserves, free from harm, exploitation, and neglect.

Bones has demonstrated remarkable resilience and affection towards humans despite his past experiences. It is essential for potential adopters to provide a secure environment with a fenced yard.

It would be nice for him to be a solo pet to get all the love and attention he needs even though he is good with other dogs, but having a fur sibling will be ok too.

From his foster mom:

Bones (aka Mr.Bobo) has been the sweetest boy. I am shocked he has not been scooped up yet.

He is great with other dogs. He is fantastic in the car (jumps right up and just lays down!), and is perfectly potty trained

He goes right to bed at night, and will lay down there until it's time for us to get up in the morning

All this boy wants is love!

He will follow you around the house, and just lay down next to you while you get things done...he's the best chore buddy

He is not affected by loud noises whatsoever..thunder, the washing machine, ice maker, dogs barking, vacuum.

He's already learned which room is off limits, he's so smart and so willing to learn!

He is SO great ignoring things on our walks. He will walk right past the ducks that are not scared of him (and we have BIG ducks by us!). Squirrels, Birds...he does not care about! He is very curious about lizards. He will watch them dart back and forth across the bushes or fences!

When we come back inside from our walk or being outside in the yard, he lets me wipe all of his paws down, and will sit patiently and wait for his treat!

🦴

He loves his belly rubs and loves his neck scratches...he will put his paw on your arm to make sure he gets adequate neck scratching time out of you. Anything under a 1 minute neck scratch is not enough loving for him.

His hard exterior doesn't match his personality! He is the sweetest boy I have ever come across!
