Seeking an experience adopter for a sweet girl with seizures
Ellie, a charming and gentle pup, has unfortunately found herself in a challenging situation. This sweet girl was saved from being euthanized after her owner could not take her with her when moving and could no longer afford her care. Ellie's medical history includes epilepsy, a condition that we believe may have been triggered by a traumatic experience during her spaying procedure at the age of two months. Despite this setback, Ellie has shown remarkable resilience and continues to thrive.
Her amiable nature extends to both canine and feline companions, making her an ideal addition to a multi-pet household. Ellie is also well-trained, displaying excellent leash manners, although she occasionally exhibits a playful stubbornness that adds to her charm. One of Ellie's favorite pastimes is basking in the warmth of the sun, a testament to her easy-going and mellow demeanor. Her gentle disposition is further evidenced by her frosty face, which reflects her kind and compassionate nature.
We are actively seeking a forever home for Ellie, preferably with individuals or families who are frequently present and can provide her with the love and attention she deserves. Additionally, we hope to find a home that is familiar with managing seizures or is willing to learn about this condition and provide the necessary care.
Ellie currently relies on medication to manage her seizures, and we will ensure a continuous supply of these medications when she finds her forever home. It is important to note that Ellie may experience some initial anxiety and pacing in a new environment, but this behavior typically subsides within a day or so as she adjusts to her surroundings.
We remain committed to providing Ellie with the utmost care and support during her time with us, and we look forward to finding her a loving and suitable forever home where she can thrive and enjoy the companionship she deserves.
