Layla

Needs Foster

Adoption Pending

Layla is just a baby… only 1 year old, 35 pounds — and already she was abandoned and left to face euthanasia alone.

Another life no one came for. Another sweet soul almost lost.

Layla is a sweet, happy puppy who’s adjusting in a temporary foster home! She’s curious, playful, and still in that teething stage, so she loves to explore (and occasionally chew on things like shoes or pillows 😄), which just means she needs a little supervision like any puppy.

She gets lots of love, toys, and attention throughout the day and rarely has to spend time alone. Layla especially enjoys being outside, where she can watch the pond, rabbits, birds, ducks, and lizards—it’s her favorite kind of entertainment! The front yard is still a bit overwhelming with all the new noises, but she’s making steady progress.

Layla is a total cuddle bug who loves belly rubs and is definitely a “move your feet, lose your seat” kind of girl. She’ll happily snuggle up one minute and bounce into playful puppy mode the next!

She’s crate trained, leash trained, and fully house trained with no accidents—she even lets you know when she needs to go out by heading to the sliding door. At night, she settles down well and sleeps peacefully with someone nearby.

Layla is thriving with love and patience. Her ideal home would be an active one with a canine companion to be a good influence and show her the ropes!

Layla is up to date on all shots, spayed and heartworm negative.

What she needs is simple:

A calm home. Patience. Understanding.

She has her whole life ahead of her… she just needs someone to help her get there.

Please consider fostering or adopting Layla. Your home could be the turning point in her story.

Thank you
