Penny is a 6-year-old terrier mix with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. Weighing about 35 pounds, she’s a sturdy little lady who’s overcome a tough past and is now discovering how wonderful life can be. Once chained outside and forgotten, Penny was rescued just in time and is thriving in her foster home. She’s almost fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is a quick learner who wants nothing more than to please her people.

Penny is great with dog-savvy kids (around 8+) and loves to cuddle, though she appreciates a calm, patient home as she continues to gain confidence. With other dogs, she’s curious but a bit cautious — her reactions come from nerves, not aggression — and she’s learning that new friends can be a good thing.At home, Penny is quiet, affectionate, and full of love.
